Attention Glock Owners:

David Morgan is a Glock Certified Armorer.

It’s recommended that once a year, you should have a Glock armorer completely disassemble, inspect and correctly lubricate your pistol. Annual inspection is only $35 and includes professional cleaning, lubrication and a detailed inspection with report. Don't neglect your Glock. This annual inspection will help insure a lifetime of reliable use and will help maintain your pistol's value. While normal user level cleaning is fine for keeping your Glock running, over time it will buildup debris in areas where the user is not able to clean on their own, such as the firing pin channel. Once a year or more often depending on the amount you shoot you should have your Glock inspected and cleaned by a Glock Certified Armorer. Don’t attempt disassembly beyond normal field stripping unless you are trained by Glock. Doing so could void your warranty!

Magazines

As part of our detailed inspection, magazines are always checked. Magazine springs are well known for getting "soggy" from staying loaded with ammo for long periods of time. Soggy magazine springs can cause failure to load the cartridge and failure to lock the slide in the open position after the last shot is fired. Also, many people fall into the trap of adding "plus 2" magazine extensions but never install a longer, more appropriate spring to ensure reliability. Followers also get damaged and prevent slide lock. Let us inspect yours and see if they need replacement!

Ammo, Cleaning & Lubrication

Remember to always shoot factory loaded, jacketed SAMI/NATO ammo. Glock does not endorse shooting hand-loads/reloads or non-jacketed lead rounds in your pistol, in-fact, it will void your factory Glock warranty if you do! Also, be sure to clean or lubricate your gun with products specifically designed for firearms. It's best to always leave the big cleaning and lubrication jobs to a certified armorer!
